Fully furnished new cabin (2010) at 5500 ft. View mountains to east, south and southwest 50+ miles away. Beds 5 inside (queen, twin, double) and 3 outside in new hard sided camper.

Full amenities including Satellite TV, DVD, VCR, sound system, air conditioning, computer, washer/dryer and fully equipped kitchen. 16 ft. Vaulted knotty pine ceiling and walls with loft. Very quiet with numerous attractions, including the Grand Canyon, easily reached on day trips. Mounted buffalo and deer heads with animal skins on walls. Equally distant between Las Vegas and Phoenix.

Where is it? 

Coming from Phoenix, Prescott, or Flagstaff you will be driving west on I-40 in Northern Arizona. Take exit 139 to Crookton Road. A separate road sign also identifies the exit as “Historic Highway 66.”. This exit is 50 miles west of Flagstaff and 5 miles west of Ash Fork and the AZ-89 intersection with I-40.

Coming from California or Kingman you'd be driving east on I-40. Coming from Las Vegas, you will come south on US-93 and then drive east on I-40. Take exit 121 and follow the signs to Seligman. At the intersection with Highway 66 turn left. Just past the Snow Cap at the east end of Seligman the road will fork. Take the road on the right that's marked Highway 66.

The cabin is located close to Historic Highway 66, half way between Ash Fork and Seligman.

Attractions

The San Francisco Peaks Cabin is located at 5500 feet half way between the towns of Ash Fork and Seligman in Northern Arizona along Historic Highway 66. This is an ideal location to relax among the Juniper trees of the Arizona high country. It also however located directly on historic Route 66 and only 90 miles away from the south entrance to the Grand Canyon and only a 1h drive away from Flagstaff, Mount Humphreys and the San Francisco Peaks.

Our cabin gets it's name from the San Francisco Peaks because they are clearly visible in the center of the panoramic view from the dining room window, sticking out over the mountain ranges to the East.
